Route Model
Veilo separates interface hosting from transfer execution. Each route has different exposure, server load, privacy, and compatibility properties.
Web Mode
Web Mode runs inside the browser with the local WebTorrent bundle. It can join WebRTC-compatible swarms where browser-compatible trackers and peers are available. It does not provide classic TCP/UDP BitTorrent compatibility.
Local Bridge
Local Bridge is a user-owned loopback connector. The public UI only talks to 127.0.0.1, localhost, or [::1], and only after a user action. It requires a pairing token and is intended for future local daemon integrations.
Remote Node
Remote Node is a user-entered endpoint. HTTPS is required by default, with HTTP allowed only for localhost. Veilo ships with no default node and does not proxy remote node requests through veilo.quest.
Direct and Planned Routes
Direct is a manual record mode for user-managed transfer destinations. I2P-only and mirror-first routes are listed as planned models and are not implemented in public v1.
