Remote Node

Remote Node is for a user-owned or user-authorized transfer node. The browser talks directly to the configured node.

Validation

HTTPS is required by default. HTTP is allowed only for localhost. Veilo ships with no default node, no relay node, and no veilo.quest transfer path.

Trust Boundary

The remote node operator controls the node. The node may observe node-side requests, transfers, and tokens according to its own implementation. Use only nodes you operate or trust.

Health Check

The connector tests /health only after a user action. Tokens are stored locally in the browser and can be forgotten from the interface.
